Hazrat Allama Dr. Shafqat Fazli (R.A.)
Hazrat Allama Dr. Shafqat Fazli (R.A.) has written seven books, out of which six are in poerty and one in prose. The poetry books include;
- Bal-e-Azazel
- Bang-e-Wara
- Laila-e-Azal
- Deedar-e-Laila
- Khuda ka Eghwa
- Karab-o-Bala, Allah ka Shehar
The prose book is “Tasawuf Ki Dunya, Mohabat ki Duniya”.

Hazrat Allama Dr. Shafqat Fazli (R.A.) built his own mausoleum during his lifetime. He conceived the design of his grave and prepared it along with his own coffin. This mausoleum was completed in about one year. Allama Dr. Shafqat Fazli (R.A.) used to say that a lover of Allah should always stay ready for order of travel (to the next world) as soon as the Beloved passes this order. He said those who believe that this travel (to the next world) shall come, they must prepare themselves for the same.
Hazrat Allama Dr. Shafqat Fazli (R.A.) remained involved with literary activities all his life. The topic of his writtings was love for Allah or tasawuf. This picture was taken at Lahore in the year 2007.
Hazrat Allama Dr. Shafqat Fazli (R.A.) paid homage to Syed Abdullah Shah Qadri, also known as Hazart Baba Bulleh Shah (R.A.), who was a Punjabi poet, philosopher, and Sufi saint who lived in the 18th century.
